Essential cookies

These are needed for Playlee to work and cannot be switched off:

• Sign-in session ("session"): keeps you signed in. On the web it lasts 24 hours and is renewed while you are active; in the apps it lasts up to 90 days.
• Security: short-lived cookies used during sign-in with Google or Facebook (10 minutes), support assistant sessions (24 hours), staff support access (4 hours) and bank payment pages (24 hours).
• Preferences: your language and country choices (up to 12 months, and a 30-day country suggestion based on where your connection comes from), the teams you follow on tournament pages (90 days), and payment page settings.
• Consent ("playlee_analytics_consent", 12 months): remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics.
• Payments: when you pay or set up payments, Stripe sets its own cookies to prevent fraud and keep payments secure.

Maps

Pages with maps load Google Maps, which receives your IP address.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry (EU) on every web page to detect and fix errors. When an error happens, Sentry receives technical details, including your IP address, the page and request details, and information about your browser or device. To diagnose problems, Sentry also records a replay of 10% of web sessions and of sessions where an error occurs, using your browser's session storage. Replays hide the text, images and media on the page by default. The Playlee apps send crash reports to Sentry without your account details and without replays.

Analytics

• Google Analytics measures visits to our marketing pages. It only loads after you accept analytics, and it sets Google cookies ("_ga" and "_ga_*") that last up to 2 years.
• PostHog (EU) measures how the Playlee product is used so we can improve it. It runs on product pages unless you decline analytics, and stores an identifier in a cookie and in local storage. When you are signed in, this is linked to your Playlee account. In the Playlee apps, PostHog is on by default and can be switched off in settings.
• Marketing attribution: to understand which of our links and campaigns bring people to Playlee, we store where you first arrived from in local storage and, for social media links, in a cookie ("playlee_social_attribution") that lasts 90 days. This does not happen if you decline analytics.

Your choices

You can accept or decline analytics in the cookie banner or below, and change your mind at any time. Declining stops Google Analytics, PostHog and marketing attribution on this browser. The consent cookie lasts 12 months, but a copy of your choice in local storage has no automatic expiry and may restore the cookie. You can change your choice here or clear this site’s browser storage.

This choice does not currently disable Sentry error reports or web session replays. You can also block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in and other parts of Playlee from working.
